The Medical Technical Institute in Kirkuk Organizes a Workshop on Biosafety and Biosecurity to Enhance Employment Opportunities in Laboratories
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of the Dean of the Medical Technical Institute/Kirkuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed, the Medical Technical Institute in Kirkuk, represented by its Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Biosafety and Biosecurity Unit, organized a scientific workshop entitled:
“Biosafety and Biosecurity as an Essential Skill for Professional Qualification and Employment in Laboratories.”
The workshop was presented by Mr. Ghassan Jalal Aswad, who addressed specialized topics focusing on the fundamentals of biosafety and safe work procedures within laboratories, in accordance with approved professional standards.
The workshop aimed to develop participants’ skills in applying biosafety and biosecurity concepts and enhance their professional readiness, thereby contributing to raising their efficiency and increasing their opportunities in the job market, particularly in laboratory fields.
