(Sustainable Development Goals and Their Role in Building a Better Future)

 

Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar,

 

and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed, Dean of the Medical Technical Institute,

 

The Department of Nursing Technologies, in cooperation with the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Division, held a scientific workshop entitled:

 

(Sustainable Development Goals and Their Role in Building a Better Future)

 

Presented by Mr. Mohammed Hakim Khalaf and Mr. Ali Qasim Taha

 

The workshop addressed the concept of the Sustainable Development Goals as a global framework aimed at achieving a balance between economic progress, social justice, and environmental protection. The seventeen goals were reviewed, along with an explanation of their importance in addressing contemporary challenges such as poverty, climate change, resource scarcity, and inequality. The workshop also discussed the role of individuals and institutions in supporting these goals through adopting sustainable practices and promoting community awareness.
