The Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute organized a scientific course entitled:
“Air Pollutants and Methods of Prevention”
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed, the Community Health Technologies Department at the Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute, in cooperation with the University Quality Assurance and Performance Division, organized a scientific course entitled:
“Air Pollutants and Methods of Prevention.” The course was presented by Dr. Jalank Hamid Mahmoud.
The course aimed to introduce the sources and types of air pollutants, explain their health and environmental effects, and clarify methods of prevention and pollution reduction, as well as enhance environmental awareness among participants. The course also addressed the importance of using clean energy, increasing green spaces, and adhering to safety procedures to protect human health and the environment.
At the conclusion of the course, the importance of community and institutional cooperation in reducing air pollution and spreading environmental awareness to build a healthy and safe environment was emphasized.
