A Field Visit to Assess the Needs of Female Students at Al-Salam 1 Dormitory

Under the guidance of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and with the follow-up of Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed, Dean of the Medical Technical Institute/Kirkuk, a committee of faculty members from the institute conducted a field visit to Al-Salam (1) Dormitory for female students to assess the services provided and the needs of the residents.

 

The visit included:

 

• Assistant Professor Dr. Kalawish Nouri Taher – Head of the Nursing Technology Department

 

• Lecturer Dr. Zainab Khairallah Sadiq – Head of the Pharmacy Technology Department

 

The committee met with the dormitory supervisor and several students, and directly inspected the dorm rooms, service facilities, and kitchens. They also reviewed the level of services provided and emphasized the importance of providing a safe and comfortable living environment that promotes the psychological and social well-being of the students.

 

The committee also emphasized the Northern Technical University’s commitment to providing essential services within the dormitories, particularly electricity, water, gas, and sanitation, to ensure a suitable environment conducive to student success and achieving the best academic results.

 

At the conclusion of the visit, the committee expressed its best wishes to the students for continued success in their studies.
