From medicine to food: Pharmacy and veterinary medicine for sustainable food security

Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute Concludes Scientific Workshop Entitled “From Medicine to Food: Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine for Sustainable Food Security”

 

The Pharmacy Technology Department at Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute concluded a scientific workshop entitled “From Medicine to Food: Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine for Sustainable Food Security.” The workshop was held under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed.

 

The workshop was organized in cooperation with the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Division, and lectures were delivered by:

The workshop addressed sustainable food security as one of the most important global challenges today. Both pharmacy and veterinary medicine play a vital role in ensuring food safety and the health of both humans and animals. The integration of these two fields contributes to improving the quality of food production and reducing health risks. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among participants about sound management mechanisms for the good manufacturing of pharmaceutical compounds, their movement within the human and animal body, and their future effects, in order to contribute to achieving good awareness of this subject and to support the trends of sustainable development for this matter and for all different aspects of life.
