Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute Concludes Scientific Course on Sustainable Rural Development and Enhancing Food Security
The Department of Pharmacy Technologies at Kirkuk Medical Technical Institute concluded a scientific course entitled “Sustainable Rural Development: Animal Husbandry and Wildlife Management for Better Food Security.” The course was held under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed.
The course was organized in cooperation with the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Division. Lecturers included:

• Assistant Lecturer Alon Qader Ahmed
• Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Khader Bayez
The course addressed the concept of sustainability in rural areas, the role of animal husbandry and wildlife management in supporting food security, and their importance in protecting the environment and achieving ecological balance.
The course aimed to raise awareness among participants about sound management practices for livestock and wildlife, contributing to sustainable and safe food production and supporting sustainable development goals.
