Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Medhat Mohammed, Dean of the Medical Technical Institute, the Department of Community Health Technologies, in cooperation with the University’s Quality Assurance and Performance Division, held a seminar entitled:
(Environmental Education and its Impact on Building a Culture of Sustainability). The seminar was presented by Ms. Rasel Nabil Abdullah.
The seminar addressed the topic of environmental education and its role in building community awareness that recognizes the importance of preserving natural resources and addressing contemporary environmental problems.
It included a discussion of the basic concepts of environmental education and behavioral practices related to sustainability, in addition to presenting models and awareness and practical programs that promote sound environmental behavior.
The seminar aimed to enhance a culture of sustainability among individuals, develop a sense of responsibility towards the environment, and empower participants to adopt sustainable behaviors and practices that contribute to environmental protection and the achievement of sustainable development.
