At the Kirkuk Technical Medical Institute, we believe in the importance of technical education in developing skills. Our vision is to be the leading institute in providing technical medical education in Iraq, and our mission is to provide distinguished technical education.
We work to enhance students’ opportunities in the job market through advanced educational programs.
Our values include: academic excellence, innovation, commitment to community, collaboration, and sustainable development.
We offer professional technical studies programs that include three main departments: Pharmacy Technology, Community Health Technology, and Nursing Technology.
The institute was established in 2023 as part of efforts to develop technical education in Iraq.
Mission
To embody the ethics of technical education by providing high-level technical education that seeks to develop knowledge and skills in line with the changes taking place in society, as well as supporting medical services with qualified technical personnel who are academically and technically trained.
Vision
The growing need for medical services to support specialized personnel, coupled with natural population growth, is driving the need to provide healthcare institutions with technical expertise capable of supporting the healthcare system and improving quality of life.
Objectives
Build and strengthen the institutional governance of the Kirkuk Technical Medical Institute to achieve international standards in technical and health education.
