The seminar concluded that psychological support is an essential component, no less important than medication, in improving healing outcomes, particularly for patients suffering from chronic diseases or critical conditions. The seminar emphasized that the patient’s psychological state is a direct influential factor in the effectiveness and response to treatment. Stress, anxiety, and depression can weaken the body’s immunity and reduce the effectiveness of medications. It was clarified that psychological support is not limited to emotional aspects but also includes education, active listening, and positive communication by healthcare providers. The seminar stressed the urgent need to train healthcare staff in psychological support skills, particularly in departments dealing with chronic diseases and oncology. Furthermore, discussions pointed to the importance of providing a psychologically safe and comfortable therapeutic environment within hospitals and health centers.
