Kirkuk Technical Medical Institute Concludes Workshop Titled “The Life Cycle of Parasitic Worms”
Under the patronage of the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Lizan Madhat Muhammad, the Department of Community Health Technology organized a scientific workshop titled “The Life Cycle of Parasitic Worms” in cooperation with the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division.

The course covered the topic “The Life Cycle of Parasitic Worms,” reviewing common types of worms that infect humans and animals, with a focus on their developmental stages, methods of transmission, and the environmental and health factors that influence their spread.
The course aimed to raise awareness among participants about the dangers of parasitic worms and enhance scientific understanding of their life cycle. This would contribute to their prevention and limit their spread in society, particularly in environments related to public health and veterinary medicine. The session concluded with an open discussion and the presentation of practical recommendations that enhance prevention and health education efforts. Participants expressed their benefit, emphasizing the importance of repeating such awareness-raising and specialized workshops.
